Today we’ve had this little lady in for some training for her leash pulling. She’s only young so pulling is to be expected, although it’s the perfect time to begin training to avoid the behaviour persisting in the future.
Nala is a little bit of a nervous girl by nature and you could see that a lot of her pulling was being caused by franticness from the external environment. A byproduct of lockdown was always going to be dogs that weren’t as confident as they could have otherwise been had we all not been confined to our homes.
We had Nala walking nicely on her lead and giving her owners great eye contact and engagement in literally no time at all. She was a pleasure to work with.
Her owners are really passionate about training which is always great to see so I know they’ll do well with her. They’re even going to the effort of hand-feeding wet food for training which is always a real show of dedication.
Good work today guys!
