Koba’s owners contacted us to arrange a follow-up session after having an initial puppy assessment prior to lockdown.
We advised that he was going to be a relatively low drive GSD, that was leaning more towards being dog focused and with a sensitivity to environmental stimuli.
Fast forward a few months and those attributes are now more prominent as he’s grown, so his owners wanted to get in with us and take a look at what they need to train moving forwards. If you have a pup and want to really help to avoid problems down the line, go and see a trainer and get them to take a look, they should be able to tell you a lot more than you know.
We looked at building food drive, improving engagement and relationship, teaching basic obedience and recall, loose leash walking, eye contact and focus around distractions, and general handling confidence.
Koba’s owners are so keen to ensure he’s the very best he can be and this is the only attitude that will yield the dog everybody wants.
Good work guys, keep it up!
